Staff at Los Angeles General Medical Center sought the public’s assistance Friday in identifying a man who has been hospitalized for a week for unspecified injuries.

The man was taken from the shelter where he was staying to the hospital last Friday, according to hospital staff. The shelter location was not disclosed.

The man is described as 41 years old, 6 feet tall, 211 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

“The patient was transported from his shelter and we have obtained some background information,” according to a hospital statement. “Efforts are currently underway to locate his daughter or any other potential relatives.”

Anyone with information about the man was urged to call medical center social workers at 323-409-6884 or 323-409-5253.
