Streets closed in Edinburg as police investigate crash

EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A portion of Trenton Road in Edinburg is closed until further notice following a major crash, police say.

The crash happened on Friday afternoon at the intersection of Trenton Road and Primavera Street.

Eastbound traffic on Trenton Road is closed near the expressway and northbound frontage.

Westbound traffic at Trenton Road and Veterans Road is also closed, with vehicles being redirected north or south at that intersection.

Police said drivers should expect delays in the area as officers work to clear the area.
