The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office is asking for help in solving the murder of a Tuskegee teenager who was found dead in Montgomery.
15-year-old Jordan Lashelle Fitzpatrick had been last seen in Macon County sometime around March 22, 2023. Her remains were positively identified by the Alabama Department of Forensics Sciences on September 25.
Police found her remains in the back of a building in the 2300 block of Poplar Street in Montgomery on August 18, 2023, but were unable to identify her because her body was extensively burned. Based on the findings of the autopsy, police ruled the then unidentified victim’s cause of death as a homicide.
