SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WCIA) -- Among other new details about a triple homicide that happened in Springfield on Thursday, officials from the Sangamon County Sheriff's Office shared that a 9-year-old boy was one of the victims.

Officials shared new information on Friday about the shooting on Hoover Avenue that left three people dead. In a news release, Coroner Jim Allmon and sheriff's spokesperson Jeff Wilhite identified the victims as: • Mhynesha Day, a 22-year-old woman • Devione Brady, a 21-year-old man • Cash Russell, a 9-year-old boy

Autopsies were performed on Friday, and all three victims were found to have died from gunshot wounds.
