One person died and another was injured in a shooting Thursday night in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood.

The Seattle Police Department (SPD) is searching for the suspects involved in the deadly shooting. According to SPD, shots were fired at approximately 8:15 p.m. on Broadway near the intersection of E. Pike Street.

When officers arrived, they found a victim with multiple gunshot wounds.

“Despite all life-saving efforts, the victim succumbed to his injuries and doctors pronounced him deceased at Harborview Medical Center,” SPD stated in its crime blotter.

While investigating, a second victim, a bystander, arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg. He is in serious, but stable, condition, as of this reporting.

No arrests have been made as the suspect(s) fled the scen
