GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — On Friday afternoon, at around 2:42 p.m., Colorado State Patrol (CSP), with other agencies, responded to a crash involving a vehicle and a child in the area of Rambling Road and Driftwood Lane.

Initial reports state that the child involved is 15 months old.

The Colorado State Patrol, the Grand Junction Fire Department and paramedics all responded to the scene.

The child was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The incident is under investigation and no further information is available at this time.
