CHIPPEWA COUNTY (WQOW) - The dates for a jury trial in the Lily Peters homicide case have been set.
Carson Peters-Berger, 17, is charged with the rape and murder of Lily Peters in 2022. Peters was 10 years old at the time. Peters-Berger was 14.
As 18 News reported in August, the trial will change venues. Judge Steven Gibbs ruled that either an outside jury will be brought in for the trial, or the case will move to a different Wisconsin county. The decision will be based on budgetary discussions.

According to court records, a ten-day jury trial is now scheduled for November 2, 2026 - November 13, 2026. A two-day jury selection is scheduled for October 21-22, 2026.
