Gov. Mike Braun is confident Indiana's economy is on a roll and the good times are destined to keep on going.
The Republican chief executive enthused over Hoosiers' fortunes Friday after finding out state tax collections in September came in $313.6 million, or 15.6%, higher than the state's revenue in September 2024.
"Our state's monthly revenue report once again exceeds expectations — proof that the strong, pro-growth foundation built under President Trump continues to fuel our economy," Braun said.
"We'll keep building on that momentum to deliver results for Hoosiers through fiscal responsibility and conservative leadership."
Altogether, Indiana took in $2.3 billion from Hoosier taxpayers last month. That was $130.8 million, or 6%, more than predicated by the April 2025
