CUYAHOGA FALLS — Week 8 of OHSAA high school football action sets up a first-place battle in the North Coast Conference.

Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (6-0, 2-0) remained undefeated with a 35-0 win at Holy Name Oct. 4. The Royals look to take command of the NCC race by defeating Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin (6-1, 2-0). The Lions come in on a three-game win streak, including a 48-6 win over Padua Franciscan in Week 7.
