EAST ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - The East St. Louis branch of the NAACP will celebrate a milestone this Sunday as they host their 71st annual Freedom Fund Banquet and Awards Gala in downtown St. Louis.

The event will be emceed by First Alert 4’s Maurice Drummond and Morgan Harris, bringing familiar faces to one of the organization’s largest fundraisers of the year.

This year’s keynote speaker will be Michael McMillian, president of the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis. McMillian’s participation highlights the collaborative efforts between civil rights organizations in the region.
