A 45-year-old Lancaster County man was convicted of attempted homicide for slashing the throat of a man who accidentally bumped into him at a bar last year , authorities said.

A jury also found Syeen Y. Hill guilty of aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and possession of an instrument of a crime as a result of the July 28, 2024, stabbing at Queen Street Bistro, according to the Lancaster County district attorney’s office.

The ruling came after a two-day trial that ended Wednesday, the DA’s office said.

Before the stabbing, a man accidentally bumped into Hill inside the restaurant. The men arguing and Hill told the man, “You’ll die today,” the DA’s office said.
