GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — On Tuesday, STREAM, EUREKA!'s new preschool housed in the recently opened Confluence Center of Colorado, will open its doors and welcome students for its first day of operation.

The first class with 40 students, aged three to five, will be led by Preschool Director Kelsey Petersen-Hardie.

Located at 2600 Dos Rios Drive in Grand Junction, the preschool offers a full-day program with a play-based Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) curriculum with a specialization for on-river and water education. Both the special focus on the river and STEAM aim to "help children grow into capable problem-solvers and responsible caretakers of their environment," according to a press release.
