The New England Patriots picked up one of the most important victories in recent memory in Week 5 when they handed the Buffalo Bills a 23-20 defeat on Sunday Night Football. In a game full of standout performances, though, it was veteran wide receiver Stefon Diggs who stood out the most.
Going up against his old team, Diggs was unstoppable, catching 10 passes for 146 yards. Every time Drake Maye needed to make a big completion in the air, he looked Diggs’ way, and he delivered the goods time and again .
Diggs’ performance has not gone unnoticed, as many folks believe he’s back to being the No. 1 wide receiver he was before he tore his ACL last season. It also earned him a unique award, as he earned the Week 5 Himmy Award from ESPN for his performance against the Bills.
