MOUNTAIN HOME — Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced Friday that a military facility would be coming to the Mountain Home Air Force Base as part of an agreement with Qatar.

Hegseth and Qatari Minister of Defense Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani signed a letter of acceptance at the Pentagon that will bring a Qatari Emiri Air Force facility to Idaho and allow Qatari pilots to train alongside U.S. Air Force personnel.
