LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Although it has been three years since repairs, the bridge near century city is breaking once again.

The bridge allows drivers and emergency crews to traverse between the two sides of the neighborhood.

According to residents in the neighborhood, the bridge is breaking apart piece by piece. Residents say that it is a dangerous piece of infrastructure.

The latest damage happened two weeks ago when storms passed through and caused excessive amounts of flooding.

The City of Laredo have put up barricades at the site. The damage is right where the street is used on a daily basis.

The concrete is coming apart piece by piece. City Council Member Gilbert Gonzalez commented that Azar Builders made repairs three years ago and are working to repair the bridge once more.
