DENVER (KDVR) — The Douglas County Sheriff's Office has announced Friday that no criminal charges will be filed after an "incident" during a high school football game resulted in a coach being ejected.

The sheriff's office said after it "thoroughly investigated" the incident during the Oct. 3 football game between Valor Christian High School and Mountain Vista High School, it has been ultimately determined that criminal charges will not be filed.

According to a previous release from Valor Christian High School, at the end of the game, an incident occurred between Mountain Vista High School's assistant coach and a football player at Valor. The school also said game officials responded and the assistant coach had been ejected from the game.
