ATHENS, WV (WVNS) - Concord University welcomed back their alumni with their annual homecoming parade.
This was their 150th parade and students and alumni did not disappoint.
They packed the campus with plenty of gray and maroon and then there were the floats.
From the Summers County Bobcat marching band to a float featuring characters from Wicked, there was something for everyone. It was also a special evening for brand new President Dr. Bethany Meighen.
She said it was incredible to see the amount of people taking part and the people showing up to watch.
"Athens is a very special place, I've been to town council meetings and I've been to other events for the high school. People in Athens show up for each other so it's really nice they're showing up for Concord," Meighen said.
