A fourth suspect has been charged in the 2024 shooting death of a young man in Montgomery.

Police on Friday announced the arrest of 19-year-old Kadarius Griggs. He is charged with two counts of capital murder and three counts of attempted murder, said Lt. Tina McGriff.

Killed was 22-year-old Eldren Wright.

Montgomery police were notified about 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2024, that five victims showed up at the hospital with gunshot wounds.

Investigators determined the shooting happened in the 1000 block of Liberty Square Drive.

Three men and two juveniles were injured. Wright and one of the juveniles sustained life-threatening injuries.

The other three victims had non-life-threatening injuries.

Wright died on Oct. 29.
