Heavy rain and gusty winds Tuesday night knocked a ton of our leaves off the trees, sending a lot of spots past peak! Have no fear, there are still plenty of spots at peak or almost peak across the region, you just have to know where to look!

At this point most of the higher terrain above 1500 ft is past peak, although there are still plenty of vibrant orange colors coming from some of those leftover leaves that are still hanging on!

The best foliage can be found in the lower elevations this weekend. The immediate Champlain Valley, especially along and near the lake shore, are still seeing some moderate color with plenty of green leaves left to change. So even though some of the more quintessential foliage spots aren't looking great anymore, there still some good colors left on the trees
