OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - The government shutdown is impacting a number of things, including the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum.
"This is a tragedy, but it has been overcome in so many wonderful, different ways," said Susan Winchester, whose sister was killed in the bombing.
The memorial grounds are viewable, but the uniforms are missing.
The memorial partners with the National Park Service. Park rangers protect the grounds and share the story of April 19, 1995.
However, with the government shutdown, rangers are furloughed.
In their place are survivors and family members of those who were killed in the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building -- Like Susan Winchester.
