Garrett Nussmeier's struggling LSU offense is expected to face South Carolina on Saturday without one of its top weapons.
ESPN reported on Friday that Aaron Anderson , the Tigers' leading receiver, is considered doubtful to play, though he was still listed as questionable on the availability report that LSU released Friday evening. Coach Brian Kelly has said that redshirt junior who exited LSU's Sept. 27 loss to Ole Miss with an elbow strain is also battling toe and knee injuries.
On Thursday, Kelly said Anderson was "day-to-day."
"He's steadily gotten better each week," Kelly said. "Today, he was (running) 19.5 miles per hour, so he's above 85%, which will put him into some practice, so we'll go again tomorrow."
