(NewsNation) — President Donald Trump's physical results have been released after a check-up at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center Friday.

In a letter to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, Trump's doctor said the president is in "excellent overall health ... exhibiting strong cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurological, and physical performance."

Trump, 79, got flu and COVID shots at his evaluation, which comes ahead of a visit to the Middle East Monday. His cardiac age was found to be 14 years younger than his actual age, the doctor said, and the president continues to maintain his demanding daily schedule without issue.
