SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane County will mail nearly 400,000 ballots for the November election starting October 15. The ballots could arrive in mailboxes as early as next Thursday.
The county elections office has prepared the ballots and checked each one to ensure it goes to the right address with the correct races for each voter.
Some ballots have already been sent to military and out-of-state voters.
"People register to vote or move or change their addresses. Then we want to make sure that they get the correct ballot. So we will be preparing and mailing ballots every day now through the election basically," said Mike McLaughlin, Spokane County Elections Manager.
