GROVE CITY, Pa. - Grove City Area High School (GCAHS) announced Friday that it will revive its traditional "Elegant Eagles Game" — a girls flag football game that also doubles as a fundraiser for breast cancer research.

The girls will take the field in a Junior versus Senior face-off at Forker Field on October 16 at 7:00 p.m. Junior and senior boys will also be participating as cheerleaders for the night, bringing school spirit to the sidelines.

School officials say they intend to make the night inviting for the whole community. The game will also feature a 50/50 drawing, raffle and concessions.

All proceeds from the event will benefit breast cancer research through the TCS New York City Marathon to raise funds for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
