MUNCIE, Ind. — The Toledo volleyball team saw its eight-match winning streak come to an end on Friday with a five-set loss to Mid-American Conference rival Ball State.
The Cardinals won by set scores of 25-21, 21-25, 20-25, 25-17, 15-12.
It’s the first loss in conference play this season for the Rockets, dropping them to 5-1 in the MAC and 14-4 overall. The defeat is the team’s first since dropping another five-set decision against Arkansas on Sept. 14.
