LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Texas Tech University’s esports program is gaining momentum as two teams recently represented the Red Raiders at the tournament level, but the student organization needs additional financial support to sustain its growth.
The esports club, which was revived in 2017, has benefited from continued university investment, including a new gaming lab .
Co-captains Zachary Bernius and Brian Rose are leading efforts to build the program’s reputation while ensuring participants enjoy the experience.
