A wet Friday forecast turned into a lightning-filled Friday night .
While Oregon high school football teams are used to playing in cold rain during October and November, Friday night’s weather came with some added lightning that either caused games a delayed start or forced teams to leave the field early in the first quarter.
Friday’s Three Rivers League battle between West Linn and Lakeridge (two teams that are both hoping to compete at both the district and state level) had to delay kickoff to at least 7:40 p.m. at West Linn High School.
