EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- Here is a list of road closures for the week starting Oct. 10, 2025, as provided by the Texas Department of Transportation.

TxDOT also wants to remind El Paso area motorists about two 48-hour road closures that are coming up in the near future.

Interstate 10 West will be closed at Mesa from 5 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18 through 5 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 20. The same area will be closed Oct. 25-27.

I-10 Widening West

Sunday, Oct.12 - Thursday, Oct. 17 (As needed due to rain.)

9 p.m. to 5 a.m. (Nightly) • North Desert between Mesa and Redd closed • North Desert at Thorn closed • Business Access Driveways along North Desert closed

Detour: Traffic will use Doniphan to Redd to access North Desert and I-10; Thorn will access Redd; and Business access along North Dese
