South Haven residents are being invited to share their thoughts on plans for new affordable housing being developed at the former Overton site with some sessions planned for the next several weeks.
South Haven Assistant City Manager Michael Landis tells us the Dwelling Place out of Grand Rapids is planning to develop an apartment building, duplexes, and single-family homes on the 5.5-acre parcel at 229 Elkenburg Street. It now wants to hear from residents before it submits paperwork seeking support from the Michigan State Housing Development Authority.
