COLUMBIA, S.C. — The Columbia Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a missing woman.

Investigators with the department’s Special Victims Unit say 55-year-old Yvette Milton was reported missing by a relative after she was last seen on October 5 in the 6700 block of North Main Street.

Police have not released additional details about the circumstances of her disappearance but are urging anyone with information to come forward immediately.

“If you see her or know her whereabouts, please call 9-1-1 or contact Crimestoppers,” the department said in a post shared Monday.

Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
