BRANSON, Mo. — A late-game surge wasn't enough, and the Carl Junction High School football team suffered a 35-32 setback to Branson Friday night in Ozark Mountain Conference action at Pirate Stadium.

The Pirates held a 21-17 halftime advantage, and the hosts were up 35-24 by the end of the third quarter. The Bulldogs made things interesting late, but the visitors were never able to pull in front in the final frame. ×
