FARGO — Jax Mattern passed for five touchdowns to lead Fargo Shanley to a 56-29 victory against Fargo North on Friday in North Dakota Class 3A play. Mattern also rushed for three TDs.

Landon Howe, Jacob Perkerewicz and Michael Hollcraft all caught at least on TD pass for the Deacons.

North quarterback Kellen Dougherty completed 15 of 32 passes for 173 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed for a score.

OKLEE, Minn. — Boe Nelson scored on three short touchdown runs as Red Lake County Central held off Park Christian 29-20 on Friday night.
