MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The powerhouses of the Badger small conference went head-to-head Friday night at Mount Horeb High School in Week 8 of our Friday Football Blitz series.

Edgewood High School looked to continue their undefeated season, while Mount Horeb/Barneveld looked to add to their six-game winning streak.

The Vikings came out hot, striking first thanks to Eli Maier, who cruised into the end zone to add the first six on to the board. The try for two was no good, making it 6-0 early in the first quarter.

Edgewood was unable to come up with anything in the drive to follow, leading MHB QB Brooks Hendrickson to work his magic again, connecting with Django Christian to add some more insurance to the board.
