South Spencer High School football player seriously injured, flown to hospital from field

INDIANA (WFIE) - A South Spencer High School player was reportedly seriously injured and flown from the field during a football game tonight.

According to the South Spencer Athletic Director, a placer was flown to Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis.

They say they are conscious and being treated for a neck and head injury.

At this time, the player’s name has not been released, but the Athletic Director did say the player’s father is with them.
