HUBBARD — Hubbard senior quarterback Braydon Songer’s command of the offense is a big reason why the Eagles find themselves sitting at 7-1 through Week 8.
Songer has averaged roughly 246 passing yards per game this season, and nearly reached that total in the first half of Hubbard’s dominating 42-0 victory over Lakeview during Homecoming on Friday night at Hubbard Memorial Stadium.
“He’s done a really good job or just making good reads and making good throws down the field,” Hubbard head coach Brian Hoffman said of Songer. “I think he brings a lot of confidence to our offense, and we have a lot of guys that we feel confident in getting the football to. … Braydon, he’s our catalyst. And when the play breaks down, he’s been able to kind of move around in the pocket and make some things hap
