On paper, West Mesquite’s 6-5A Division I contest against Bryan Adams on Friday had the appearance of a mismatch.

The Wranglers entered the contest with a 4-0 record in district play, with all of those victories being by at least 35 points. The Cougars were on the opposite end of the standings at 0-3, with two of those defeats coming by 30 points or more.
