STEVENS POINT – For D.C. Everest on Friday, Oct 10, at Georke Field, the old saying that the more things change, the more they stay the same rang true as the Evergreens once again beat Stevens Point 28-13.

Just like last season, the Evergreens entered their Week 8 matchup against arch-rivals Stevens Point with their backs against the walls, coming off a one-sided loss to Chippewa Falls.

They fought tooth and nail to grit out an overtime victory, and clinch the 2024 conference title, and while the 2025 meeting needed no extra time, the result remained the same.

D.C. Everest threw the first heavy punch at the Panthers early on, and kept swinging – never allowing the Panthers to get back onto their feet.

The victory gives the Evergreens their first win at Georke Field since 2011.
