Behind two touchdowns from each of Avery Cano and Randy Leon, Lyndhurst scored 45 first-half points to beat Elmwood Park 52-0 in Lyndhurst.

Leon got Lyndhurst’s big night started when he returned the opening kickoff 80 yards for a touchdown, the first of four scores for Lyndhurst in the first quarter.

Avery Cano then ran into the end zone for the first time on a one-yard score that put Lyndhurst up 14-0.

Quarterback Jayson Bellenger connected with Leon for a 50-yard touchdown through the air, and Allen Frias rounded out Lyndhurst’s 28-point first quarter with a six-yard rushing touchdown.

In the second quarter, Shadeed Smith found the end zone on a two-yard run before Cano scored his second touchdown with a 38-yard rush to put Lyndhurst up 42-0.
