MARSHALL, Texas (KETK) -- The Texas High Tigers clawed their way to victory over the Marshall Mavericks in a matchup featuring two top competitors in their district.

The Tigers are looking dangerous in 2025 as they currently hold a 6-1 record and are winning most of their games by at least two scores. With three more games left, the Tigers are gearing up to take a playoff spot in November.

Next week, Texas High will be at home where they will hos the Mount Pleasant Tigers in a battle of the big cats on Oct. 17 at 7 p.m.
