CORONA — These Huskies continue to show that they know how to take advantage of an opponent’s mistakes.

Centennial’s defense created four takeaways, and Dominick Catalano passed for four touchdowns in just three quarters during a 63-14 victory Friday night over Vista Murrieta in a Big West-North Division football game.

“You make one error against Centennial and they expose you and go 60, 70, 80 yards,” Vista Murrieta coach Coley Candaele said. “They’re a lot better than us.”

Catalano completed 9 of 13 pass attempts for 219 yards as Centennial (6-1 overall, 2-0 Big West-North) scored on five of its seven first-half possessions to win its sixth straight in the series against Vista Murrieta.

“We got the passing game going so that was huge, and our defense played incredible,” Catalano said
