ROCHESTER HILLS – Defenses dominated and a touchdown scored on the first possession of the game proved to be the only one Rochester needed in Friday’s 10-0 victory over Southfield A&T.
Junior receiver Nathan Tandy, who scored the decisive touchdown in the team’s last win over Lake Orion on Sept. 12, had the only one for either team in the Falcons’ latest victory, scoring on a 53-yard reverse on the first drive of the game.
“It was exciting,” Tandy said after the win. “We practiced that play all week and executed it perfectly.”
Added Falcons head coach Erik Vernon, “It was a big play, it was awesome. He’s been a big playmaker for us and we’ve got to continue to find way to get him the ball.”
