STEUBENVILLE — The Sycamore Youth Center looked back at the summer and announced some of what the children who attend the organization has done prior to the start of autumn.
This year, there were 150 children who were blessed during the nonprofit organization’s Summer Fun Camp. The 150 campers enjoyed Bible teachings, STEM lessons, taking part in art projects, enjoying recreational activities and laughing with one another throughout the week-long camp.
According to Executive Director Bobbyjon Bauman, more than 50 volunteers gave joyfully, creating a Christ-centered week where children grew in faith and discovered their gifts.With stories of Joseph’s perseverance and Jesus’ parables, campers left with hope and direction, Bauman said.
