A new exhibit at the Gaston County museum features community-contributed photographs and personal reflections about nature and wellness.
More specifically, the exhibit, “Somos Día a Día: Wellness Paths” highlights the connection between nature, mental health and physical well-being, according to a press release from the museum.
In collaboration with The Gaston County Department of Public Health, and Latinos Aventureros, the bilingual exhibit, “invites visitors to experience powerful visual stories created by members of the Latino community. Through photography and personal reflections, participants share how everyday outdoor experiences — whether in parks, gardens, trails or backyards — promote healing, reduce stress and strengthen holistic health,” the release said.
