INDIANAPOLIS - An investigation is underway after one person was killed and another was injured in a hit-and-run crash on Indy's north side Saturday morning.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, at approximately 1:47 a.m., officers responded to the intersection of Kessler Boulevard East Drive & North College Avenue on the report of "personal injury accident."

When officers arrived on scene, they located a red pick up truck in the 5800 block of North College Avenue with two people inside. An adult male was pronounced deceased and the second person was transported to an area hospital in critical condition, police said.

A witness told investigators a silver car and the red truck collided at the intersection of Kessler Boulevard East Drive & North College Avenue . T
