LAKEWOOD, Ohio — A strong first-half performance on both sides of the football by No. 2 St. Edward was too much to handle for the Football North Chargers out of Mississauga, Canada, as the Eagles looked strong in a convincing 42-23 victory on Friday night at First Federal Stadium of Lakewood.

The victory improves the Eagles’ record to 7-1 to set the stage for a colossal showdown in Division I when 6-2 Cincinnati Moeller comes to town next Saturday.
