Handler, Geisinger bomb-detecting dog flash skills in visit to Shikellamy

SUNBURY — A longtime bomb-detecting dog handler at Geisinger Medical Center had to be separated from her canine partner for 19 days last year while receiving cancer treatment.

Vicky Housner, who calls Aria, a 6-year-old German Shepherd, her best friend, is in remission from the multiple myeloma she was diagnosed with last year.
