PEQUOT LAKES — Alexa Pietig does a little bit of everything.

The Pequot Lakes senior is a setter, hitter and blocker for the Patriots volleyball team and stuffs the stat sheet nightly.

She collected six kills, 18 set assists, nine digs, four blocks and an ace serve in a sweep of St. Cloud Cathedral Oct. 2 and posted nine kills, 16 set assists, 12 digs and two blocks in a 3-1 win against Foley Sept. 30.

“Alexa does almost everything for us,” Pequot Lakes head coach Jenna Anderson said. “She is a great server when she’s in the back row. She steps up in that setter role, plays a great defense and then in the front row she takes on that hitter-blocker role. Alexa is such a competitor and wants to compete in all areas and I love that.”
