Bihar Elections: Modi-Yogi Piggy Banks Are New Flavour Of Poll Season

Muzaffarpur: In the ongoing poll season of Bihar, Modi-Yogi piggy banks (gullaks) are gaining traction. Named after Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Aditya Nath, the piggy banks are in fact terracotta statuettes of the two political leaders from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

These statuettes are being made by Muzaffarpur resident Jai Prakash. It is being claimed that the demand for these piggy banks has soared to the extent that shops are running out of stock.
