Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand will soon embark on a diplomatic tour to India, Singapore, and China. On Saturday, the Liberal Party leader stated that Anand would visit India as part of her three-nation tour, set to take place from October 12 to 17.

Announcing the trip, the Canadian Ministry of External Affairs said it would aim to advance cooperation and strengthen bilateral relations under Canada’s Indo-Pacific Strategy.

In an official statement, the Canadian government said, “Today, the Honourable Anita Anand, Minister of Foreign Affairs, announced she will travel to India, Singapore and China from October 12 to October 17 to advance bilateral relations and cooperation with these countries as part of Canada's Indo-Pacific Strategy."
