Due to high wind gusts, Wind Advisories are issued for Coastal Carteret County and the Outer Banks until 4 AM Sunday. Wind gusts could exceed 45 mph, as sustained winds hold from 25-35 mph. A Flood Watch is also issued for the areas until Sunday. The main issues will be river runoff and inundation for coastal areas.

Keep the rain gear at hand as our coastal low will bring rounds of heavy rain and windy conditions this weekend. Rain will move from the coast to the inalnd throughout the day. Rain will start light, then become heavy in the afternoon. The northeast wind gusts for the inalnd locations will be from 25-35 mph, and coastal areas will see 40–50 mph. Sustained winds will be from 15-25 mph. By later in the evening and into Sunday morning, winds will continue to howl to start the day
